Warehaus AE purchases office on North George Street

Warehaus AE, a local architecture, engineering and design firm that has called York their home for the past 40 years, made a significant investment in the York community on Thursday, October 27 when they purchased their office space at 231 North George Street. The purchase signals a significant commitment to the firms’ future, put in motion last year.

Formerly part of the Kinsley Enterprises family of companies, Warehaus took their first step toward a new future when two long-term employees, Troy Bankert, AIA, CEO and David Koratich, COO, took over ownership of the firm in April 2021. Warehaus also right-sized their workspace in the Spring of 2021 with a move to the 1^st floor of The W. Latimer Small Building on North George Street.

It was critical that the business remain downtown, continue to support the local community, and find a space that accommodated Warehaus’ unique working style – with areas for team discussions, collaborative pin-up sessions and individual focus. Eighteen months later, the time was right to take ownership of the 231 North George Street office and focus on growing the business in a permanent location.
