Spotlight: Joe Stein
As Project Manager for Warehaus’ Civil Engineering / Land Planning team, Joe is right at home working in downtown York. His enthusiasm for the City is demonstrated in his 10+ years of volunteering in, and for, the City of York. Joe is heavily involved in community activities, participating in over a half-dozen playground builds with York City’s Bring on Play group, of which he is currently Chairman. He served as a member of both the York City Planning Commission and York City Civil Service Commission and is a former Devers Area Neighborhood Association President. He is also very involved at St. Patrick Catholic Church and School in downtown York. There he has led the Board of Education and Athletic Association, has coached basketball, and is currently the President of the Pastoral Council. Joe is adept at working closely with clients to meet project schedules and provide expertise in creating E&S control plans, NPDES permitting, environmental permitting with DEP, USACE, sewage planning modules, stormwater, subdivision and land development plan design.
With nearly 15 years’ experience in Land Planning and Design, Joe has worked all over south-central Pennsylvania for a multitude of developers gaining valuable experience along the way. That experience allows Joe to be flexible with both clients and regulatory agencies. As new challenges arise in developing land, Joe is well equipped to work with clients’ regulators and his co-workers to provide the best possible product. Joe lives in York City with his two sons, Joseph – age 11 and Michael – age 8 and their two cats Sarge and Stuart. Together the three enjoy spending time outdoors, playing sports and board games.
