Warehaus, in collaboration with Acadia Healthcare, Inc., successfully completed renovations for Bowling Green Brandywine, a leading drug addiction and alcohol abuse rehab treatment facility in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania. For more than 30 years, Bowling Green Brandywine has been committed to providing comprehensive rehabilitation services for both men and women.

Under an expedited design schedule, the project focused on expanding the facility’s capacity by adding eight bedrooms, enabling Bowling Green Brandywine to better meet the growing demand for its crucial services. The renovations, covering around 4,000 sf, included the demolition of existing office use spaces and converting them to functional living facilities and supporting therapy spaces.

The transformed space now features new patient bedrooms, supporting rest rooms, shower facilities, offices, and dedicated community and group rooms. The newly created bedrooms, totaling approximately 1,800 sf, were designed to provide a conducive environment for rehabilitation and community engagement. Challenges of the project included an extremely tight turn around of permit documents and converting existing wall construction into code compliant fire and STC rated assemblies.
