We listen.

Initially, Warehaus conducted comprehensive field work to document the extent of the damage. This included assessing the dislodged stone masonry units and shifted lintels at the southeastern corner of the tower. Notably, two stone masonry units had fallen to the street, and both eastern and southern stone lintels had shifted outward, impacting the existing copper roof and interior wood structural elements. Additional damage to brick masonry, stucco, and windows was also documented around the tower.

Following the damage assessment, Warehaus prioritized stabilization measures to prevent further deterioration. They proposed various options for repair, each addressing the specific challenges presented by the lightning strike. These options ranged from repairing and replacing masonry in-kind while stabilizing the copper roof and wood structure, to more extensive approaches involving the removal of existing components and installation of a new flat roof.
