When York College of Pennsylvania, a privately funded school with over 4,500 full-time students, decided to unify its engineering departments in one facility, they acquired the York Narrow Fabrics building. The site of the turn-of-the-century factory bridged two previously disconnected areas of the College – the Main and West campuses. The transformed Engineering Center now houses the college’s mechanical, electrical, and computer engineering programs.
